KleenSlate Concepts
Looking for fun ways to encourage your kids to read, write, or practice their math skills? Whether you homeschool or are simply actively engaged in learning at home with the kids, hand held dry erase white boards from KleenSlate Concepts is a great teaching resource!
My girls attend a public school. Last spring our governor released a report card for every public school in the state. Our school got an F. There is a wide variety of reasons for why they scored so poorly. One of the biggest factors stems from the fact that over 60% of our elementary school's population is Somalian. Most of those kiddos do not speak English as their first language which certainly is going to negatively effect our testing scores and hence, our state report card.
While the criteria used to grade my daughters' school seems inadequate and skewed, it's important to me that my kids continue to test well and never lose their love of learning. As a parent, it's my job to make sure my kids are on par with their peers and that they continue to strive to do better. Being a teacher's daughter, education has always been very important to me. And, now I have a great new tool to share with my kids that will continue to keep learning fun!
Complete with a snap-in marker holder, these boards are like an all-in-one learning kit. Just grab your paddle and you are ready to go. I love the non-toxic, odor free markers that come with their very own eraser caps too. My girls love to play school and these dry erase boards and markers are perfect for that favorite past time too.
Be sure to visit the KleenSlate Concepts website to take a peek at all the different paddle sets and dry erase accessories they offer. I definitely will be sharing this resource with both of my daughters' classroom teachers as I've seen similair (although, lower quality) products in their classrooms.
KleenSlate Concepts has generously offered 2 Saving Common Cents readers the chance to win a 2 pack of their hand held, dry erase boards! Simply enter below for your chance to win!
