Our Thankful Tree!

It's easy to forget about what we are truly thankful for in the hustle and bustle of our everyday. A fun Thanksgiving craft to do with the kids is to make a Thankful Tree!
My kids love jotting down their favorite, most appreciated people, memories, and things. It's heart-warming to see the names of special family members and neighbors grace our tree...alongside some of the quirky favorites like BBQs, sleepovers, and Santa! My favorites this year so far include; snow, music, our parakeets, and family!

We keep a box of pre-cut "leaves", a black marker, and tape close by for things we think of throughout Thanksgiving...and encourage guests to add the things they are thankful for too.
By Thanksgiving Day we have quite a tree, full of colorful leaves reminding us all of what is truly important.
